Chef's Commissary Kitchen

Was very excited about this kitchen, went and did a walk through that went very well, I was pretty much sold a fantasy in person. The owner Daniel never communicated with me through a phone call or email, I did a follow up call with him a few days later. Daniel stated to me, well how do I know that your not gonna come in and work longer then the hours you said you would, Daniel also stated if I needed to use the kitchen he would have to stay there with me to watch me until I’m done using the kitchen. Daniel and I already discussed the Dates, time, and hours I would be using the kitchen, but after talking to him over the phone he stated I needed to do at least 100hrs. I can say this is the first time I ever felt discriminated against based on my skin color. Everything that Daniel and I discussed in person was totally different then we discussed when I finally reached back out to him. Daniel intentions was not to call me back. It’s a shame we always have to be judged based on our skin color. The area where this kitchen is located is not a good area anyway. So thank you for your time Daniel.

Owner represented exactly what was offered and I received what was expected and more. He was professional, polite and detailed on what was expected. I would say he catered to more than I expected and made slight adjustments to commissary based on my personal needs. I am a 1 year experienced in the culinary arts field and received services as I needed. Only lack was, giving me proper time I scheduled. All in all it was not a lose for me.

Totally unprofessional, using foul language during our first call. Not organized at all. It is obvious even over the phone that this person has no experience whatsoever in the use of a commercial kitchen. He even mentioned that he was not interested in our business if there was someone else willing to pay more money lol! Also suggested to wait 5-10 minutes for the stove burners if anyone were to be there cooking at the time we showed up to use our pre-arranged time. We doubt that anyone is using this space and advise any professional Chef to stay away. This is a time bomb waiting for a huge issue because of lack of organization and good management.

This kitchen has everything my business needs. We have access when we need it. Walk-in cooler and freezer, 4 convection ovens, 12 burners, 2 flat tops, and fryers, and basic dish area. The owners have been making improvements each week to the kitchen. They have been open to suggestions that would be help to my business and team. Looking forward to growing and expanding my start up from here.

This place is awesome! Have everything I needed to move in and start baking. No back & forth calls. Went for a viewing, loved the space and layout, signed the lease that day. Owners seemed to really care, which is hard to find now days! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to bake or cook.
