Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Perryville

I took my two 10-year-old grandchildren here in June. What a cool place! There is so much for kids of all ages to do. I asked my grandkids the other day what they liked about their three-day trip. They said they loved the Magi quest, the candy store, the wave pool, their bunk beds activities in the lobby, and the arcade! The place was easy to get to, lots of good parking, the staff was great, and the place was clean and well-managed. If you choose to come, take advantage of all the Great Wolf Lodge has to offer.

We chose Great Wolf Lodge Perryville for a family getaway, in large part because of their advertised allergy-friendly approach. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that commitment. I reached out multiple times via the email provided for allergy concerns and never received a response. When I called customer service, I was assured my daughter’s severe food allergies would be noted on our reservation — but when we arrived, there was no record of it. The restaurant staff were completely unaware of her allergies, which made us feel uneasy and unprepared. Our first night was also disrupted by a loud party in the room next door during quiet hours. We called multiple times to report it, but the noise continued for over two hours. The next morning, I requested a room change due to the lack of sleep, and to their credit, the staff accommodated us with a new room and provided a breakfast voucher as a gesture. The water park was extremely crowded, which we expected for a summer weekend, but it also felt notably understaffed which resulted in limited supervision in the young kid area. That said, most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the lack of allergy support and the handling of noise complaints made it difficult for us to fully enjoy our stay or feel at ease.

My family and I had a nice time. Family setting (some forgot that when it came to swimsuits), good location. The staff were great. The life guards on point, the building was clean or was being cleaned, which was great to see. The older staff made for an overwhelming great experience. It was so good to see this age group still full of life and working. The food options were nice. We personally made food and dined out our last night. We've been to other GWL locations but first time at this one. We'll be back ....

This was our second time at Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD, and it somehow just keeps getting better! From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical for my family. We have 5 children, and it can be hard to find a place where everyone feels comfortable and entertained—but this place absolutely delivered. The room we stayed in fit all 8 of us perfectly. It was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed. The kids were so excited about the bunk beds—they claimed them right away! The pull-out couch was surprisingly comfortable, and the beds were just what we needed after a full day of fun. The amenities are so thoughtfully designed. My children couldn’t get enough of the Waterpark, and they were thrilled to try everything from the obstacle course and mini golf to the arcade, bowling, and even mining. They were in heaven. And the ice cream? Let’s just say it was the cherry on top! What really touched my heart were the little moments—like the dance party and story time. Watching my little ones light up during those special activities made me so grateful for this experience. Everything is created with families in mind, and you can truly feel that in every corner of the resort. Thank you, Great Wolf Lodge, for helping us make another set of beautiful memories. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

No matter how you cut it, it's pricey. However, the rooms are clean. So happy the floors are not carpet like in other locations. Outside food is available for pick up or delivery. This review, however, is for the medical emergency response team at the water park. You are all amazing!! They were quick, they communicated, asked the right questions, assisted us in every way. Thank you for keeping my child safe during his emergency. Thank you for your kindness and your much needed strength. I hope no one needs to meet you, but if they do, they are in great hands.
