Box Hill Pizzeria and Crab Cakes

First time eating here. Came for the crab cakes.. they didn't disappoint! Full of lump crab meat and very little filler. The breading they use for the filler was actual bread and even tasty not just dry bread crumbs. We ate outside. Service was great and the food came quickly. A little weird and inconvenient to have to get your own drink but other than that very good experience. Restaurant and restroom was clean. Nice outside area covered partially and umbrellas at the tables at the other section. Would definitely return. Family lives close by so I DoorDash did for them sometimes.. nice option ad I live out of state.

So first off, the crab cakes are always phenomenal. The pizza was much better than expected. The calamari was not chewy and the marinara was warm. They were about eight of us and everyone was very happy with their meals previously I had ordered their salad dressing shipped to my home in New York and will be doing it again shortly. It’s amazing Greek dressing.

First off I researched the Crab fest 2025 and who would be there like the big back I am. I peeped the website and said o they look good. Good is an understatement it was damn great. I have to try the restaurant out. *in pic crab cake sandwich and crab fries. The crab 🦀 fries are out of this world 🌎. The crab cake was a true staple of what Baltimore Crabs are all about. Crab meat was sweet fresh n so damn flavorful. Y’all need to run not walk to Boxhill they are worth the drive. Keep up the great work guys

I think most folks go here for their legendary crab cakes, but I loved the chicken parm. Loaded with flavor, comes out ultra hot so be careful, and highly recommend a side of the Greek salad! Bring the whole fam, and also consider it for a future cozy date!

It's nice visiting my old neighborhood and getting an all-time favorite. Boxhill Pizzeria is still busy, making them expensive crab 🦀 cakes. They really taste so good on a platter or in a sub or sandwich. To me, all their subs are worth a try. There were some upgrades from 20 years ago, and the place is stunning in comfort, but it seems like it can get very busy and tables filled quickly. Be careful of which location you place your order. It makes a difference. One side is dine in, and the other side is carried out! Staff was ok. The food was ok, but the carb cake can be pricey as high as 56.00 for one. However, it's still great food. 😁
